Tailgating Recipes

For The Motorhome

 

 

 

Tailgaters in a motorhome have a slight advantage when it comes to serving food:  they have electricity for a crockpot.   If you're tailgating in a motorhome, try these cocktail sausage recipes.  They're easy to make and your guests will love them.  Just don't forget to bring the toothpicks!

 

 

 

 

Bourbon Cocktail Sausage

 

4 lbs Manda Sausage or 4 packs of Manda Party Links

1 Onion (diced)

8 oz Tomato Paste

1 cup Brown Sugar

3 tbs Mustard

1 tbs Minced Garlic

5 oz Bourbon

 

Cut the sausage into bite sized pieces.  Combine all ingredients in  a large pot.  Cook on low heat for 2 hours or longer.  Serve with toothpicks.

 

***If using Party Links, don't bother slicing them, throw them in the crockpot whole, they're made ready to go!

 

 

 

BBQ Cocktail Sausage

 

4 lbs. Manda Sausage or 4 packs of Manda Party Links

18 oz BBQ Sauce

½ cup Mustard

½ cup Brown Sugar

¼ cup Water

2 tbs Vinegar

2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce

 

Slice the sausage into bite size pieces.  Combine all ingredients in  a large pot.  Cook on low heat 2 hours or longer.  Serve with toothpicks.

 

***If using Party Links, don't bother slicing them, throw them in the crockpot whole, they're made ready to go!

 

 

 

Orange-BBQ Cocktail Sausage

 

4 lbs. Manda Sausage or 4 packs of Manda Party Links

18 oz BBQ Sauce

1 cup Orange Marmalade

¼ cup Water

¼ cup Honey

2 tbs Soy Sauce

 

Slice the sausage into bite size pieces.  Combine all ingredients in a large pot.  Cook on low heat 2 hours or longer.  Serve with toothpicks.

 

***If using Party Links, don't bother slicing them, throw them in the crockpot whole, they're made ready to go!

 

 

 

Sweet n Spicy Sausage

 

4 lbs. Manda Hot Sausage 

1 Yellow Bell Pepper

1 Red Bell Pepper

18 oz BBQ Sauce

1 cup Creole Mustard

1 cup Brown Sugar

¼ cup Water

¼ cup Honey

2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce

2 tbs Soy Sauce

 

Slice the sausage into bite size pieces.  Cut the Bell Peppers into thin, 1-inch strips.  Combine all ingredients in a large pot.  Cook on low heat 2 hours or longer.  Serve with toothpicks.

 

 

 

Sweet n Sour Sausage

 

4 lbs. Manda Sausage or 4 packs of Manda Party Links

24 oz. Ketchup

20 oz Crushed Pineapple

18 oz Grape Jelly

16 oz. Dark Brown Sugar

½ cup Water

¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce

 

Slice the sausage into bite size pieces.  Combine all ingredients in a crockpot.  Cook on low heat 2 hours or longer.  Serve with toothpicks.
